Your Role
As a Diesel Technician I, you will start your career in maintaining our luxury coach fleet by performing basic diesel technician tasks under the supervision and guidance of our trainers, senior diesel technicians and leadership team. This entry-level position involves learning & applying foundational job skills and company practices to complete routine assignments with clear instructions. You will work on straightforward tasks and follow established procedures, seeking assistance when faced with more complex problems. This role is ideal for those beginning their career in diesel mechanics, providing opportunities to learn and grow within a high-quality environment.

Responsibilities

• Apply basic job skills and company procedures to complete routine maintenance and repair tasks on diesel engines, transmissions, and other coach components.
• Follow established procedures and detailed instructions for routine work, seeking guidance from supervisors for new or complex assignments.
• Identify simple problems or opportunities and use a logical approach to address them, requesting help from supervisors when necessary.
• Actively listen, ask questions for clarity, and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors using clear, simple language.
• Participate in team activities and support team members with basic tasks, building internal relationships and demonstrating a willingness to learn.
• Share basic technical knowledge with peers under supervision and show persistence in completing tasks, overcoming minor obstacles with guidance.

Minimum Requirements

• 0-1 years of experience; this is an entry-level position.

Preferred Requirements (Nice to Have)

• Basic understanding of diesel engine maintenance and repair is a plus.
• Some experience or training in diesel mechanics.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and apply basic job skills effectively
