Your Role
As a Diesel Technician III , you are vital to the ongoing excellence of our luxury coach fleet. You are responsible for ensuring that each vehicle operates at peak performance, offering safe and exceptional travel experiences to our high-profile clients, including musicians, politicians, and celebrities. With your focus on Volvo Diesel engines, your role involves not just maintaining these vehicles but also taking the initiative to solve complex problems and improve processes.
In this role, you will complete tasks resourcefully and effectively, using considerable judgment and initiative. You will need to understand the broader implications of your work and make recommendations that improve our operations. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve issues with diesel engines, performing routine maintenance and complex repairs on electrical, electronic, brake, and transmission systems.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to troubleshoot performance and emissions control systems, ensuring all vehicles meet high safety and performance standards.
- Lead and mentor team members informally, determining methods and procedures for new assignments, and offering solutions to prevent recurring issues.
- Analyze problems and draw conclusions based on a mix of experience and technical analysis, recommending process improvements.
- Communicate technical insights effectively to various audiences and navigate complex situations persuasively, while building and maintaining networks across teams.
