What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Manager position at Encore - US?
Your Role
This isn’t your average IT role. As the IT Manager at Encore, you will take full ownership of all IT operations, proactively identifying and solving problems while driving innovation without waiting for direction. You’ll be a department of one at first, rolling up your sleeves to handle everything from troubleshooting daily issues to implementing long-term improvements.
Unlike larger organizations where IT roles are highly specialized, you’ll have the opportunity to build and oversee every aspect of our IT infrastructure—from equipment setup and network management to cybersecurity and IT strategy. This is not a ‘manage from a distance’ role—you will be in the thick of operations, making things happen.
While you won’t be managing a team initially, there is massive growth potential in this role. As Encore continues to expand, the right person will lay the groundwork for future IT growth and could be leading a team in a year or two. This role is for someone who thrives on taking full responsibility, enjoys solving challenges firsthand, and wants to play a key role in shaping Encore’s technological future.
