Encore Village is currently hiring for a full time Retail Manager in our Dining Services Department to oversee daily operations of the retail and cafe areas, ensuring a high standard of service and efficiency.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Schedule and manage employee shifts to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
- Train, mentor, and supervise staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and customer service expectations.
- Conduct regular team meetings to provide updates, training, and feedback.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring products and adequately stocked.
- Oversee ordering of supplies, merchandise, food and beverage items as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct routine stock counts.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely deliveries and cost-effective purchasing.
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Ensure high-quality service at all points of interaction.
- Handle customer concerns, feedback, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor sales trends and implement strategies to optimize revenue.
- Operate and troubleshoot the POS system to ensure smooth transactions.
- Maintain full knowledge of coffee, food, and beverage offerings, including seasonal specials and recipes.
- Ensure the proper preparation of coffee-based beverages according to quality standards.
- Oversee merchandising and product displays to enhance customer engagement.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the retail and cafe areas.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Report and address any maintenance or equipment issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, expenses, and inventory.
- Assist in budgeting and financial planning for the retail and care areas.
- Ensure proper cash handling and adherence to financial protocols.
- Complete and submit the necessary reports and paperwork as required.
- Manage payroll, scheduling and disciplinary actions.
