The Virtual Support Specialist is a remote role that is responsible for supporting the Virtual Instructors during their live class presentations. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth virtual experience for our members but troubleshooting Zoom issues, collecting contact information for follow-ups (if not able to assist with tech issues), and conducting outreach to encourage engagement.
Schedule will be Monday Friday, 40 hours.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides real-time support to members experiencing Zoom access or technical issues during live virtual wellness classes.
Assists members in navigating Zoom settings such as audio, video and login troubleshooting.
Documents member contact information, in the instance that follow up assistance is needed.
Conducts outreach calls to members with active accounts, who have not yet joined a class, to encourage participation and offer assistance with access the Wellness Everywhere platform.
Maintains accurate records of member interactions, common issues, and resolutions.
Works closely with Virtual Programs Manager and Virtual Instructors to ensure a seamless member experience.
Stays up to date with Zoom updates and best practices for troubleshooting common issues.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Tech Savvy with experience using Zoom and other virtual platforms
Comfortable assisting members with basic technical troubleshooting
Excellent communication skills with a lively and engaging personality
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Ability to multitask and remain patient and professional in a fast-paced virtual environment
Ability to work in the US without sponsorship
While working from home, the Virtual Support Specialist must have a clean, organized and dedicated space. This role requires the ability to dedicate full attention to work, during scheduled working hours, in a distraction free environment.
