The Reliability Technician is responsible for the collection of electronic data associated with the condition monitoring of Encore Wire machinery.
Essential job functions
- Safety first attitude and performance.
- Must be able to walk data collection routes throughout Encore Wire’s facility.
- Must be able to follow direction of the Reliability Supervisor and work closely with other team members, as well as working independently.
- Working knowledge of reliability tools and processes; Vibration data collection, Infrared Thermography, Ultrasonic detection, Belt and shaft alignments.
- Collects electronic data by the use of various data collection tools.
- Document daily activities in Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Ability to interpret collected data.
Requirements
- 2 years’ experience as a Reliability Technician.
- Category I Vibration Technician Certification.
- Computer skills, including ability to use ipad tablet.
- Ultrasonic and Thermography Certifications are a plus, not required.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment.
