We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Assistant to support our team in various administrative and project management tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of projects and maintaining high standards of communication and documentation.
We are looking for a candidate :
Who has a desire to work in a TEAM environment with support and input from multiple angles that values safety above all else.
With the ability to support a project engineering team who is focused on prioritizing, scheduling, and logistically managing project schedules in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Who will collaborate with the project engineering teams who facilitate equipment installation, facilities engineering & building construction projects.
The Engineering Project Assistant Will :
Manage engineering department periodic reporting.
Track engineering metrics and generate quarterly reports.
Provide document control for all projects by working closely with all project managers to ensure they are following project documentation standards.
Order materials for project managers on an as needed basis.
Be the librarian for OEM technical documents.
Be a liaison between CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) team and Engineering team.
Be a liaison between Parts team and Engineering team.
Be a liaison between Accounting Asset team and Engineering team.
Minimum Qualifications :
Organizational and project management skills, along with effective communication skills.
Skilled at working with and supporting internal teams.
Preferred Qualifications :
1-5 years of experience as an Engineering Project Assistant
Experience in the wire manufacturing industry.
Good computing and software skills, including Microsoft Office.
