Encorus Group is seeking a highly experienced Process Engineer with 20 years of expertise to join our Depew, NY office. If you have a proven track record of solving complex engineering challenges in the AEC and Industrial sectors, we want to hear from you!
In this senior role, you will lead and oversee projects involving mass balance analysis, the development and revision of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs), piping and equipment design calculations, and compliance with industry codes and regulations. Your deep technical knowledge will be essential in guiding projects from concept to completion.
We are looking for a seasoned professional with exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. In addition to technical responsibilities, you will play a key role in mentoring junior engineers, providing strategic input for proposals, and managing client and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities :
- Define project requirements, delegate tasks to staff, and oversee projects through to completion, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of deliverables.
- Serve as a project manager, handling correspondence, estimates, schedules, material lists, design considerations, and drawings.
- Review and redline existing drawings, maintain project documentation, and coordinate project files.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external professionals, including architects and engineers, to ensure seamless design integration.
- Independently manage projects of moderate size and complexity while supporting senior engineers on larger, more intricate assignments.
- Assist project managers with correspondence, estimates, schedules, material lists, design concepts, calculations, and documentation, ensuring compliance with customer, corporate, and industry standards.
- Apply industry best practices and company standards to oversee the development of calculations, project drawings, and specifications.
- Mentor and guide entry-level engineers, providing technical development, progress reviews, and coaching.
- Coordinate with internal and external partners—including cross-discipline teams, construction teams, vendors, fabricators, and clients—to address electrical-related challenges.
- Execute advanced engineering tasks that require creativity and critical thinking, solving unique electrical challenges that may have limited or no direct code guidance.
Qualifications :
