Social Media Director
Encounter Ministries is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee the coordination and successful completion of various projects, including video production, graphic design, live streaming, and event planning. This role requires a proactive leader who can ensure tasks are distributed effectively, communication is seamless, and all projects meet deadlines and quality standards. The Project Manager will report directly to the Media Director and Executive Administrator.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee projects across the media team, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities.
- Develop and maintain systems to track project assignments and progress using tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or other software.
- Communicate effectively with editors, media staff, and leadership to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Research and stay updated on best practices for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X to optimize content quality and engagement.
- Maintain organization of content and files across platforms and internal systems.
- Provide creative problem-solving and leadership to address challenges and streamline workflows.
- Use Slack for internal communication and understand Discord for audience engagement.
- Ensure all edits and revisions are distributed correctly and reviewed efficiently.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and strong leadership qualities.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets) and project management tools.
- Tech-savvy and eager to learn new platforms and systems quickly.
- Availability during church services at The Encounter Charlotte.
- Familiarity with video production, graphic design, and live-streaming processes is a plus.
· Valid NC driver’s license with a good driving record and be insurable.
· The ability to pass and clear a thorough background check.
