Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Sr. Business Development Manager specializing in Supply Chain & Manufacturing to join our team in Dallas, United States. In this pivotal role, you will drive business growth by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities within the supply chain and manufacturing sectors.
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to expand our market presence in the supply chain and manufacturing industries
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship building with key decision-makers
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform business strategies and product offerings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions that address client challenges in supply chain and manufacturing
- Negotiate and structure complex deals, ensuring alignment with company objectives and profitability targets
- Manage and grow existing client relationships, identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities
- Lead the development of compelling proposals, presentations, and business cases to support sales efforts
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth implementation of new business initiatives
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, providing regular updates to senior management
- Stay abreast of industry developments and emerging technologies in supply chain and manufacturing to maintain a competitive edge
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, preferably within the supply chain or manufacturing sectors
- Proven track record of successfully driving business growth and developing strategic partnerships
- Strong understanding of supply chain operations, manufacturing processes, and industry trends
- Excellent strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable business strategies
- Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with C-level executives
- Proficiency in market analysis, project management, and data-driven decision making
- Experience with CRM software and other relevant business development tools
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and persuasively
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events
