Endeavor has engaged with a privately held, growing real estate development and investment company seeking a Maintenance Director for their Reno, NV team.
The Maintenance Director oversees maintenance operations across properties, ensuring efficiency in personnel management, planning, capital projects, and inspections. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and cost-effective maintenance practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Hire, train, and manage Service Team Supervisors and staff.
- Ensure safe work practices and promote a strong safety culture.
- Monitor maintenance requests, work order completion, and unit turnovers.
- Assist in budget planning and cost reduction strategies.
- Oversee inspections and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Analyze property maintenance performance and generate reports.
- Supervise special projects and routine maintenance implementation.
- Travel may be required for site visits.
Qualifications & Skills
- 24/7 availability for emergency response.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations.
- Experience in mechanical maintenance (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift items over 60 pounds.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and climbing.
- Routine use of office equipment (computers, phones, etc.).
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
