Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join the team. This role will support the financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions across our commercial real estate portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial modeling, market research, and investment analysis, with a passion for the real estate industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support investment decisions, acquisitions, and asset management.
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to provide data-driven insights.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, forecasts, and variance analysis for senior leadership.
- Evaluate potential real estate acquisitions and developments by analyzing cash flows, returns, and risk factors.
- Support due diligence efforts, including lease analysis, property valuation, and debt underwriting.
- Prepare investment memorandums and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with asset management, leasing, and development teams to optimize financial performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, investment analysis, or a related role, preferably in commercial real estate.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with real estate valuation techniques, including DCF, IRR, and NPV.
- Knowledge of real estate financial software such as Argus is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
