Position Highlights
- Behavioral Health Integration Clinician I
- Hourly Pay Range: $28.47-$42.71
- Location: 5060 N. Broadway St., Chicago, IL
- Full Time/Part Time: Full time
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm
- Required Travel: No
- Provides behavioral health integration services which includes patient screening, assessment, collaborative care, and individual therapy.
- Facilitates treatment plan changes for patients who are not improving as expected in consultation with the medical provider and the psychiatric consultant and who may need more intensive or more specialized mental health care.
- Participates in regularly scheduled caseload consultation with the psychiatric consultant and communicates resulting treatment recommendations to the patient’s medical provider.
- Participates in quality improvement activities that support organizational goals, marketing efforts, and program safety and security.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory standards like protected health information (PHI), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and mental health code.
- Promotes Endeavor Health including Linden Oaks Behavioral Health programs, physicians, and allied staff while evaluating the needs of the patient and offering community resources for services when appropriate.
- Education: Master’s Degree or higher in a related mental health field
- License: Current State of Illinois licenses such as: Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) within six months of start date into position
- Current State of Illinois driver’s license required if the incumbent is selected to perform related duties at an offsite location. If the incumbent uses their personal vehicle, the incumbent must maintain automobile liability coverage as required by law and evidence of such coverage may be requested.
- Certification: CPR/BLS Certification
- Experience: Preferred a minimum of one year or more of experience in mental health setting or healthcare setting.
