Exercise Physiologist
Position Highlights:
- Position: Exercise Physiologist
- Location: 900 W Central Rd. Arlington Heights, IL. – Arlington Heights, IL
- Part Time: 20 hours per week
- Hours: Hours vary between (6:00am – 2:30pm)
General Summary:
Reporting to the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Manager, is responsible for the care of patients in the Cardiac and/or Pulmonary Rehabilitation continuum by case managing assigned patients from initial consultation through discharge from the program. Continually assesses patients and implements treatment as necessary. Involves family/guardian in the treatment plan. Assumes responsibility for the development of exercise prescriptions for patients.
What you will need:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology with Specialization in cardiopulmonary health and rehabilitation required. Masters degree preferred.
- Certification: BCLS certification for healthcare providers required. ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist and/or AACVPR Certified Rehabilitation Professional certification preferred.
- Experience: One year experience in a multi-phase cardiopulmonary rehabilitation program, including developing exercise prescriptions.
