- Position: Food Service Assistant II
- Hourly Pay Range: $15.68 - $24.40. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
- Location: Elmhurst Hospital - Elmhurst, IL
- Part time | 20 hours/week
- Hours: Monday - Friday, shifts will vary between 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM with every other weekend and rotating holidays
- The Food Service Assistant II performs a wide variety of duties involved in preparing and/or serving foods and beverages in one or more of a variety of food service environments.
- Is responsible for the assembly, serving and/or delivery of meals to patients and/or staff in an efficient, professional, and timely manner.
- This position functions as part of the team that ensures food safety and quality for patients, visitors and staff.
- Certification: Successful completion of a Food Handler Training Certificate Program (ANSI Accredited) within 30 days of employment required
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Experience: Minimum of one year of food service experience in a healthcare setting preferred
