- Position: Food Service Assistant Lead
- Hourly Pay Range: $18.31 - $25.63. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
- Location: Elmhurst Hospital - Elmhurst, IL
- Full Time | 40 hours/week
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM with every other weekend and rotating holidays
- This position is part of the team that insures safe and fresh delivery of foods and services to patients as well as customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Functioning in a lead capacity, with direct responsibility for the workload and workflow of the team.
- Responsible for assembling and serving meal trays to patients in an efficient and timely manner.
- Retrieving soiled trays and recording patient intake.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: A minimum of two years of previous food service experience in a healthcare environment
- Certification: State of Illinois ANSI Accredited Food Handlers Certificate within 30 days of start date of position for employees working on their Food Service Sanitation Manager Certificate
- Certification: State of Illinois Food Service Sanitation Manager Certificate required within three (3) months of hire
