- Hourly Pay Range: $20.14-$30.00/hour. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

The Insurance Verification Representative II must have a strong understanding of insurance processes and be able to communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.
What You Will Do
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits for patients scheduled for services or admissions.
- Contact insurance companies to obtain up-to-date information on policy details and eligibility.
- Accurately document insurance information in the hospital's database.
- Maintain organized and detailed records of verification activities.
- Communicate insurance information to patients, healthcare providers, and other hospital staff.
- Collaborate with the authorization department to ensure necessary approvals are obtained from insurance providers.
- Assist in resolving any authorization issues or discrepancies.
- Monitor and follow up on pending insurance verifications.
- Address any issues or delays in obtaining insurance information.
- Ensure that all insurance verification activities comply with relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Stay informed about changes in insurance policies and requirements.
- Work closely with the billing and coding teams to support accurate claims processing.
- Bachelors Degree Preferred
- 2 Years of experience in healthcare insurance verification.
