Position Highlights:
- Position: Medical Scribe
- Hourly Pay Range: $18.00 - $26.65. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
- Location: 2007 95th St, Naperville
- Full Time: 36 hours per week
- Hours: M-T 7am-5pm W 8am-3.30pm Th 9:30am-7pm & Fri 8.30am-3:30pm & some Sat 8am-12:30pm
- Required Travel: No
What you will do:
- Accompany healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures, accurately documenting all relevant information in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Transcribe medical history, physical examinations, assessment, and treatment plans in a clear and organized manner.
- Ensure that all patient records are complete, accurate, and compliant with healthcare regulations and hospital policies.
- Anticipate the needs of healthcare providers by preparing medical documents, charts, and other necessary materials before patient encounters.
- Enter patient information, including demographic details, medical history, and laboratory results, into the EHR system with precision.
- Organize and maintain patient records, ensuring they are easily accessible for reference and reporting.
- Review and proofread all documentation for errors, omissions, and inconsistencies, making corrections as necessary.
- Flag incomplete or missing information for providers' attention.
- Greet and escort patients to examination rooms, maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and administrative staff, to ensure efficient patient care and documentation.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
What you will need:
- Bachelors Degree Preferred
- 1 Year experience as a medical scribe is preferred, but not required.
