- Position: Mental Health Associate II - Per Diem
- Hourly Pay Range: $26- $30
- Location: Evanston Hospital, Higland Park Hospital and Swedish Hospital
- Full Time/Part Time: Per Diem
- Hours: Per Diem - Rotating Shift
- Required Travel: Yes
- Mental Health Associate is a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Acts as a partner with an accountable nurse to serve as either a primary or associate caregiver to assigned patients for the extent of the hospital stay.
- The counselor collaborates with the professional nurse and multi-disciplinary team members to provide holistic, individualized patient care and therapeutic milieu management.
- License: N/A
- Education: Bachelor's Degree-Human Services or Associate’s degree with three years’ inpatient psychiatric experience
- Certification: CPR
- Experience: With human services such as inpatient psychiatry or direct patient care preferred
- Skills: Interpersonal skills, knowledge of psychiatric terminology & theory, empathy
