- Position: Mental Health Intake Scheduling Coordinator - Days
- Location: Evanston, IL
- Full Time/Part Time: Full-Time - 40 hours
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
- Required Travel: Yes, floating locations
- Complete level of care assessments of complex patients and provide referral coordination services
- Supervise psych schedulers and provide clinical support and assist in clinical decision making
- Train and orient all new psych schedulers
- Utilize Epic to schedule all new and established patients in accordance with patient and physician preferences, physician availability, and practice protocols
- Supervise psych schedulers and ensure all incoming telephone calls from patients, physicians, and other departments are managed appropriately and in accordance with NorthShore telephone customer service standards and practice protocols including documenting in Epic telephone encounters
- Orient, train, mentor, and cross-cover co-workers as necessary
- License: LCSW, LCPC, or licensed psychologist required
- Education: Master's Degree, PhD, or PsyD; Licensed clinical social work degree (LCSW), licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) or licensed psychologist (PhD or PsyD)
- Certification: n/a
- Experience: Two years of clinical experience in the mental health field, particularly with assessments and referrals; Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Skills: Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks; knowledge of health insurance plans a plus.
