What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sterile Processing Technician Certified - Days position at Endeavor Health?
What you will do:
- This position is assigned to decontaminate, assemble, sterilize, store and distribute instruments, equipment and supplies to the operating room and other departments and off-site clinics according to established procedures.
Position Highlights:
- Sign on bonus: $ 10,000 with parameters Certified & $5,000 with parameters for non-certified
- Hourly Pay Range: $19.39 -30. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
- Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $19.89 base pay hourly rate beginning with May 2025 paychecks. (for hot jobs only)
- Location: Naperville, IL
- Full Time - 40 hours
- Hours: Days 7 am - 3:30 pm with rotating weekends and rotating holidays based on staffing needs
What you will need:
- High school diploma or GED
- Certification as a sterile processing technician obtained through the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) or the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA).
- Highly preferred:
- At least 6 months of previous sterile processing experience
