The Retail Leasing Agent is responsible for the lease up of a variety of retail product in Central Texas, such as suburban grocery-anchored shopping centers, mixed-use urban retail, and lifestyle developments. The Retail Leasing Agent will represent Endeavor-owned shopping centers and select third party clients’ assets. This position will report to the Principal-In-Charge of Retail and work closely with other members of Endeavor’s retail leasing and development/acquisitions team.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Perform cold calls to retailers in order to fill vacancy.
- Sell or purchase select land tracts.
- Create relationships with store owners and brokers.
- Negotiate Letters of Intent.
- Prepare lease proposals and contracts.
- Prepare for and complete property tours with brokers and tenants.
- Update various asset management schedules for weekly leasing meetings.
Financial Skills:
- Understand basic finance and accounting.
- Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Technical Skills:
- Excel skills and Word experience required.
Personal Skills:
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Communicates well with others through different modes (phone, email, etc.).
- Self-starter and self-motivated.
- Honest and forthright.
- Team oriented.
Education/Experience:
- BS, BA, or BBA degree required.
- Experience is not required.
- Previous analyst experience helpful.
- Texas Real Estate License required, or in progress of completing.
