Java J2EE Developer (Apigee/Kafka/MongoDB) – W2 Only
Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: 12 Months

JAs a Java Developer, you will play a key role in modernizing our systems by developing scalable microservices, integrating APIs, and optimizing data flows to ensure a seamless migration.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 4–5 years of experience in software development with Java and microservices architecture.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kafka for event-driven architectures.
- Proficiency in working with APIs and API management tools like Apigee.
- Experience with cloud technologies (OCP, AWS, or similar).
- Hands-on expertise with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
Preferred Qualifications (Plusses):
- Experience with OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
- Knowledge of additional cloud environments and DevOps tools.
- Previous experience with large-scale data center migrations.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain microservices using Java and Kafka to support data migration and real-time processing.
- Design and implement APIs, leveraging Apigee for API management and security.
- Work with MongoDB and cloud technologies to ensure data integrity and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align software solutions with business objectives.
- Troubleshoot and optimize performance issues related to microservices and data handling.
