Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children, a passion for early childhood education, and a commitment to providing a safe and engaging environment. The preschool teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging lesson plans, managing the classroom, and providing individualized attention to each child.
Duties:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the needs of the children.
- Provide high-quality infant and toddler care, including feeding, changing diapers, and soothing children.
- Engage in play-based learning activities to promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages socialization and exploration.
- Manage the classroom effectively, including maintaining a clean and organized space.
- Build strong relationships with children and their families, providing regular communication and updates.
- Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current on best practices in early childhood education.
- Provide special education support to children with varying needs and abilities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Experience working with young children, preferably in a preschool or childcare setting.
- Knowledge of infant and toddler care practices.
- Familiarity with special education and differentiated instruction.
- Proven ability to manage a classroom and engage children in learning activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Physical stamina to care for children and maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Certification in Infant Care or Toddler Care is preferred.
