What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Technician position at Endless Mountains Care?
Behavioral Health Technician
- 1-year Drug and Alcohol experience preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Full-time 40-hour work week, 3 pm-11 pm will require a weekend rotation and does include some holidays.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Comply with all Department of Drug and Alcohol licensing standards, which include patient confidentiality.
- Participate in group curriculum and indoor/outdoor activities.
- Provide documentation of group topics and client participation.
- Follow each client's treatment plan as outlined by the client's primary counselor.
- Provide transportation for clients to medical appointments/other needs.
- Assist with completing new admission checklists and paperwork.
- Conduct searches of client belongings on admission, periodically throughout treatment, and on discharge.
- Carefully monitor clients during all daily activities, visitation, and volunteering engagements.
- Encourage, monitor, and participate in socialization and daily living skills
- Professionally represent Endless Mountain Extended Care, LLC at all times.
- Complete other assignments as management requests during your shift.
- Behavioral Health Technicians report directly to the Director of Operations.
