Endless Mountain Extended Care, LLC is an all-male Drug and Alcohol treatment facility located in Factoryville Pa. A Certified Recovery Specialist at Endless Mountain Extended Care, LLC provides invaluable peer support to individuals at high risk from substance use disorders and helps them regain control of their life in sobriety. Importantly, this position often involves flexible hours to effectively cater to the needs of clients, ensuring that support is available when it is most needed.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Deliver ongoing recovery support services to patients who are currently experiencing active addiction or are in the early stages of recovery
- Collaborate with patients to develop a service plan that is rooted in specific, measurable, and realistic objectives, while consistently monitoring their progress toward these goals.
- Assist patients in identifying their individual needs and guide them in accessing relevant community resources that address those needs.
- Support patients in building on strengths and identifying weaknesses
- Help clients access local resources for transportation, employment, housing, food, and more
- Encourage patients to access and remain actively involved in treatments for substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, and mental health challenges
- Provide transportation for outpatient needs that align with CRS guidelines, such as job interviews, human service appointments, court appearances, etc.
- Keep in regular contact with EMEC clients to monitor progress and ensure open lines of communication.
- Exemplify the process of initiating or continuing a recovery program that aligns with the patient's preferences. This includes providing guidance on selecting a sponsor and developing a support network.
- Organize, participate, and engage in designated outreach activities
- Ensure the timely submission of all assigned documentation utilizing EMEC's electronic medical record.
- Attend mandatory staff meetings, continuing education, and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Communicate effectively with the Clinical Director any concerns
- Provide after-hours support to patients through direct communication via cell phone as required, ensuring that they have access to necessary assistance outside of regular hours.
-Comply with all Department of Drug and Alcohol and facility training requirements and continuing education.
