Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Radiology Manager to oversee our radiology department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and providing leadership to the radiology team. This role requires a strong understanding of radiologic technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster a collaborative work environment. The candidate must be able to work as a X-Ray technologist as well as a CT Technologist and have knowledge on MRI, Ultrasound, Bone Destiny, and Vascular Ultrasound.
Duties
- Oversee and work alongside technologists in the daily operations of the radiology department, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
- Manage staff schedules, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities for team members.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety protocols within the department.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient imaging services.
- Monitor equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs or upgrades as necessary.
- Implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate departmental goals, updates, quality assurance projects, and address any concerns.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) is required.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of radiology practices, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to work as a technologist in x-ray and CT services.
