Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our team. As a Toddler Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children and creating a nurturing learning environment.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs and activities
- Create engaging lesson plans that promote the intellectual and social development of children
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for all students
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure each child's developmental needs are met
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support each child's individual learning journey
- Incorporate various subjects such as Math, Science, and Reading into the curriculum
- Utilize teaching methods that align with Early Childhood Education principles
- Implement Montessori or other educational philosophies as applicable
Skills
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of child development and early childhood education practices
- Ability to educate and inspire young learners
- Proficiency in curriculum development and lesson planning
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures in early education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues
What are the qualifications needed for a Toddler Teacher?
- Child Development Associate Certification, Associates degree or Bachelors degree required
- Must be able to play with children in various ways including standing, kneeling, and playing on the floor.
- Must be able to move up to fifty (50) pounds.
- If you do not have an Associates or Bachelor's degree. The Child Development Associate Certification must be obtained upon hire as well all applicable clearances.

Pay: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour
