Summery:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated and experienced Accountant who will be responsible for the management and reporting of financial data of our organization to join our team. The ideal candidate will be fully capable and knowledgeable of financial practices and be an expert in accounting software, such as QuickBooks and SAP.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Utilize accounting software, particularly QuickBooks and SAP.
- Recording and managing supply invoicing using analytical methods to ensure accurate tracking and categorization, item organization, and reorder points.
- Ensuring compliance with French Corp requirements in all financial reporting and documentation.
- Accurately prepare monthly statements, including sales reports, inventory updates, general ledger entries, balance sheets, post journal entries, financial statements, and reports for management review and for the headquarters.
- Manage all aspects of the bookkeeping process, including AP, AR, registration, reconciliation, cash flow adjustments, sales reporting, cash reporting, cash forecasting, P & L, inventory and all general accounting: customers, suppliers, analytical, banking.
- Handle tax preparation and compliance, ensuring adherence to governmental accounting standards.
- Monitor financial transactions and ensure proper documentation for audits.
- Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and documentation.
- Handle reminders and disputes with customers and/or suppliers.
- Carry out a continuous watch on regulatory changes and apply changes as needed.
- Report activity, malfunctions, and anomalies through secure communications from subsidiary to HQ.
- Identify risks and/or problems, propose solutions /changes/projects to improve operations and productivity as needed.
- Carry out archiving, backups, filing, documents with various media on PC.
- Draw up monthly and annual closures and necessary documents in the specified time.
- Participate in the development of the budget and budget monitoring.
- Be the GM’s main point of contact on financial matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks and SAP
- Experience in governmental accounting practices
- Knowledge of double entry bookkeeping and financial statement preparation
- Ability to communicate effectively in French
- Familiarity with financial report writing and interpretation
- 5 years of experience as an accountant
- Knowledge of French financial terminology
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
