Dental Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and sterile environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the endodontist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
• Maintain aseptic techniques to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Take and digital radiographs (X-rays) as required.
• Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and treatment plans using Kodak carestream and PBS enterprise dental software.
• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all supplies are stocked.
• Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experiences and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in of general dentistry practices.
• is advantageous.
• Proficient in using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic for managing medical records.
• Strong understanding of anatomy related to dental health.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Certification in but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
