We are in search of a Dental Assistant / Sterilization Technician who exhibits quality service, commitment, accountability and excellence. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, job knowledge and work ethic to warmly greet patients, take x-rays, turn rooms over and stock supplies.

Highlights of Dental Assistant Responsibilities:
- This position's primary focus will be on taking dental radiographs, completing dental examinations with the Doctor, and maintaining sterilization of equipment and tools.*
- Provide outstanding customer service for the patient, demonstrating excellent chairside manner
- Assist the doctor with all dental exams and procedures
- Take radiographs of patients using standard digital dental radiographic equipment
- Perform efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain doctors' schedule and patient flow; ensure limited to no patient wait time; maintain time flexibility for patient; be present, engaged, and prepared
- Clean and set up treatment rooms
- Review patient chart prior to doctor arrival and log appropriate patient data during exam and treatment
- Order and organize dental supplies
The schedule for this position is approximately a 30 hour work week Monday - Thursday.

Dental Assistant Qualifications:
- Active Dental Assistant & Radiology Certification in the state of Oregon.
- Dental experience is not required! We will train new dental graduates.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently
- Reliability and punctuality
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Radiology certificate preferred
- CBCT
- CPR certification
- Knowledge of head / neck anatomy
- Endovision software
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of standing
- Must be able to lift-up to 15 pounds at times
- Visual acuity to read records and documents
