We are currently seeking a Lead Dental Assistant who is dedicated to providing top-notch patient care and supporting a positive, collaborative work environment. This is your chance to lead a team of dental professionals, showcase your leadership skills, and grow in an exciting and rewarding field.
This is a full-time position with a work schedule of: Monday-Friday 8-4:30
What You’ll Do:
As the Lead Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a smooth and efficient clinical department. Your leadership will set the standard for excellence, ensuring that patients receive the best care possible and that our practice operates at the highest standards.

Inventory & Equipment Management: You’ll ensure dental supplies and equipment are always stocked and in top condition. Take charge of inventory, ordering, and organizing routine maintenance.

Team Leadership & Supervision: Work closely with the Practice Administrator and doctor to supervise and guide clinical staff. You’ll manage daily responsibilities, including patient and treatment room management, sterilization, and adherence to office protocols.

Training & Development: Assist in training and retraining clinical staff to ensure ongoing growth and compliance with guidelines set by OSHA, BORID, HIPAA, CDC, and other agencies.

Checklists & Reporting: Keep track of all daily, weekly, and monthly checklists. From emergency team management to spore testing, your attention to detail will keep everything running smoothly.
Lead Dental Assistant Required Skills & Experience:
- Competency in administering dental x-rays, CBCT, Nitrous Oxide, and sterilization techniques.
- Experience with electronic dental records and proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with a diverse team and provide exceptional patient care.
- Must have a Dental Assistant diploma/certification from an accredited program and a Radiology certificate.
- 2 years of experience in a dental practice or equivalent education/experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Endodontics experience
- N2O and CBCT certification
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
