Revenue Cycle Specialist (Hybrid Position)

Job Summary: EPP is seeking a dedicated and organized Revenue Cycle Specialist to join our team. This exciting hybrid position offers the flexibility of working two days a week from home and three days a week in-office in Brentwood, TN. As a Revenue Cycle Specialist, you will be responsible for insurance collections, posting insurance payments to claims, and other duties related to the revenue cycle process. You will ensure compliance with HIPAA privacy standards and model the organization's service philosophy and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Insurance Payment Posting: Accurately post insurance payments to claims in Endovision and similar practice management software.
- Accounts Receivable: Resolve aged accounts, including collections and appeals.
- Positive Attitude: Display enthusiasm and interest in your job and the company.
- Continuous Learning: Increase knowledge and skills pertinent to the position.
- Team Collaboration: Work cooperatively with others and suggest positive solutions.
- Compliance: Adhere to standards of conduct and support ethical practices.
- Task Management: Prioritize work responsibilities and complete assignments timely.
Job Qualifications:
- At least one year of experience in dental and/or medical insurance posting and interpreting EOBs.
- Health care revenue cycle accounts receivable experience.
- Strong computer and communication skills.
- Experience in health/dental benefits verification.
- Knowledge of dental and/or medical billing and coding terminology.
- Proficiency with software programs including Word, Outlook, Excel, and healthcare billing software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Dental experience is a plus.
- Experience with major insurance companies' billing policies.
- Knowledge of insurance claim forms and benefit coordination.
