Job Summary:
The Revenue Cycle Specialist will conduct daily interactions in a manner that demonstrates a positive and organized attitude. As a Revenue Cycle Specialist, you will be responsible for insurance collections, posting insurance payments to claims and other duties related to the revenue cycle process while maintaining compliance with HIPAA privacy standards.
* This is a full-time hybrid position located in Brentwood, TN with a Monday through Friday schedule. You have the option to work remote up to two days per week and on-site in our beautiful office 3 days per week.
General Duties:
- Posting insurance payments to claims in Endovision software
- Resolving accounts receivable on aged accounts including collections as well as appeals
- Displays positive level of enthusiasm and interest about their job and the company
- Assumes responsibility for continually increasing knowledge and skills pertinent to the position
- Willingly takes on additional assignments and responsibilities
- Frequently suggests positive solutions to improve service to patients and the operation of the company
- Demonstrates an understanding of practice philosophy in patient care
- Works cooperatively with others
- Complies with standards of conduct and supports ethical practices as indicated in compliance plans
- Prioritizes responsibilities and completes assignments in a timely fashion.

Job Qualifications:
- Health Care revenue cycle accounts receivable experience
- Strong skills in working with computers and communication equipment
- Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff/team members
- Dental experience is a plus
- Experience in health/dental benefits verification
- Ability to accurately resolve claims and client concerns
- Knowledge of dental or medical billing and coding terminology
- Knowledge of computer software programs including Word, Outlook, Excel as well as background in healthcare billing software
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Demonstrates the ability to prioritize work with some oversight to meet outlined goals
- Experience with major insurance companies billing policies to ensure compliance
- Knowledge of insurance claim forms
- Understanding of benefit coordination
- Ability to prioritize tasks in an efficient manner
