What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Assistant MUST HAVE DENTAL EXPERIENCE position at Endodontic Specialists LLC?
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide patient education on post-operative care
- Perform infection control procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical coding as necessary
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems such as Epic, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
