Duties:
- Perform dental examinations, diagnose oral conditions, and develop treatment plans
- Administer local anesthetics and perform pain-free dental procedures
- Perform root canal therapy
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Collaborate with dental professionals for complex cases or referrals
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical records systems
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique throughout procedures
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry through continuing education
Requirements:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license in good standing
- Proven experience as a Dentist or completion of a residency program
- Strong understanding of medical documentation and recordkeeping
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to assess patients' oral health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Outstanding communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff members
