Job Summary:
Under moderate supervision of the R&D staff, the Sr. R&D Technician will perform a wide variety of research and development laboratory tasks and experiments to assure achievement of Endologix’s goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Assembles prototypes of design concepts.
- Develop manufacturing instructions.
- Conducts bench testing of designs and subcomponents.
- Executes test protocol in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Performs limited trouble shooting of test equipment and calibrations of instruments.
- Maintains records of activities to comply with regulatory requirements.
- Test prototypes.
- Records data and observations in lab notebook.
- May manufacture device components per engineering drawings.
- May also perform assembler duties in a Pilot Plant environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Education:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:

Minimal medical device experience….Three years of laboratory experience in a related industry or field. Experience with record keeping and
documentation. Familiar with plastics, metals, and adhesives. Familiar with general test equipment. Medical device experience preferred.
Compensation: $60K - $85K/Annual
