Job Overview Industrial Painter
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team at Endres Manufacturing, a leading steel manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have experience in painting metal surfaces and using various painting techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, and prepare surfaces for painting by applying primers and undercoats.
- Paint Application: Apply a variety of industrial coatings using tools such as sprayers, brushes, and rollers.
- Quality Control: Inspect painted surfaces for uniformity, thickness, and defects, ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Equipment Maintenance: Set up, operate, and maintain painting equipment, including sprayers and compressors.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and use protective equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
- Documentation: Maintain records of materials used and work completed.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and paint steel surfaces
- Ensure quality and uniformity of coatings
- Maintain painting equipment
- Adhere to safety protocols
Requirements:
- High school or general education degree (GED) required
- Proven experience as an industrial painter, preferably in a steel manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of painting tools and techniques
- Attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for quality.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, squat, kneel, bend, twist and reach
- Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
- Ability to work in various conditions
- Must be able to stand and walk constantly
- Must be able to grip, grasp, push, pull, reach and stoop
- Must be able to lift/carry products to 50 lbs. at varying frequencies
- Bending/Twisting: Must be able to bend at the waist, flexing knees, and twist body to perform some tasks

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 – 50 per week
