What is the role about?
The High School Internship program gives students the opportunity to have a hands-on work-based learning experience. High school seniors will explore roles in areas of interest including engineering, controlling, training, calibration, and human resources. As a high school intern at Endress Hauser, we want you to truly become a part of our team by participating in projects, contributing ideas, and collaborating with those around you as you grow and learn about future career path.
Which tasks will you perform?
Historical projects for various high school internships have included:
- Access and usage of Business System Software and tools including finance and customer portals
- Access and usage of Engineering Systems and tools
- SharePoint Site maintenance & updates
- Hands-on experience with Endress Hauser Instrumentation
- Other projects as time permits; dependent on student skill level and motivation, based on department needs
What do we expect from you?
You will have (required):
- Be entering senior year of high school in the Fall of 2025
- Be considering a career in Business/Finance/Manufacturing OR Engineering/Service/Repair OR Sales/Manufacturing
- Customer service skills as evidenced through previous job experiences
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret business and/or engineering documents
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions of managers, reps, and customers
- Microsoft Office skills
- Be available for at least a 2-2.5 hour window four days a week between 8:00am - 5:00pm
You may have (preferred):
- Previous applicable Business/Finance and/or Career and Technical coursework (ex: Automotive Service, Electrical/Electronics, HVAC, IT, Pre-Engineering) preferred
- Interest in learning various software and hardware platforms that are utilized in the department
