What is the role about?
Rust Automation & Controls, a representative of Endress Hauser Inc., is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. This role is vital to ensure smooth accounting operations, timely follow-up on outstanding receivables, and accurate application of customer payments. You'll work closely with customers, vendors, and internal teams to maintain and improve critical accounting processes.
Which tasks will you perform?
- Generate invoices for drop-ship orders.
- Process customer payments and post daily deposits.
- Follow up on outstanding receivables by sending past-due notices and making phone calls.
- Set up and maintain accurate customer account records.
- Evaluate credit limits and history to determine order approvals.
- Post bills for warehouse orders and generate commission invoices for vendors.
- Assist Sales with Will Call orders.
- Follow up on credits and refunds.
- Maintain and enhance accounting reports.
- Explore and implement process improvements in accounts receivable functions.
- Identify and address customer needs to ensure satisfaction.
- Go the extra mile to engage with customers and teammates.
