Solutions Project Manager

Role Responsibilities

• Full ownership of multiple solutions projects from kick-off to completion.
• Lead cost reduction and engineering efficiency efforts for all projects.
• Schedule with the engineering team to ensure high project quality, keeping projects on schedule, and encouraging collaboration/alignment across the team.
• Use of Project Management software/tools for all phases of projects ensuring we have the most current Bill of Materials, Drawings, and Scope of work during any phase of the project lifecycle.
• Work with engineering team to make sure Engineering Standards are followed.
• Managing incoming orders and delivery dates using SAP.
• Work with 3rd party suppliers and fabricators to meet delivery dates.
• Assist Sales with pricing and delivery information.
• Perform other customer activities, including:
• Collaborate on project goals and needs to provide the best customer experience.
• Deliver periodic cost, resource, and scheduling reports.
• On-site project management services to support project execution
• Provide technical knowledge and assistance for customer project inquiries.
• Understanding and promoting solutions capabilities.

Qualification Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (engineering preferred) or associates degree in a technical field and at least 3 years of related experience or at least 5 years of related experience
• Customer service skills
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical documents and bid specifications
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions of managers, reps, and customers
• Travel required: 20%
