The Supplier Quality Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining a robust supplier quality system, ensuring the highest standards in supplier performance, conducting supplier audits, and managing part quality to meet our organization's quality objectives.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly sitting at their desk. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing may be required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary
Travel
Travel is expected. This includes visiting suppliers (domestic and international), traveling to global offices (Taiwan and China) for training, and completing audits as required. Periodic visits to HQ is expected as part of working with Corporate QA Team.

The Supplier Quality Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining a robust supplier quality system, ensuring the highest standards in supplier performance, conducting supplier audits, and managing part quality to meet our organization's quality objectives.
Essential Functions
- Developing Supplier Quality System:
- Design, implement, and continually improve a comprehensive supplier quality management system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish quality standards, specifications, and guidelines for suppliers.
- Managing Supplier Quality Performance:
- Monitor and assess the performance of suppliers to ensure adherence to quality standards and delivery timelines.
- Work closely with suppliers to address and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
- Supplier Audits:
- Plan and conduct regular supplier audits to evaluate compliance with quality management systems and standards.
- Generate audit reports, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with suppliers to implement corrective actions.
- Part Quality Management:
- Oversee the inspection and validation of parts received from suppliers to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Develop and maintain robust processes for part qualification, testing, and acceptance.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

- Leadership and team management capabilities
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus
- Proven experience in supplier quality management, with a focus on developing and implementing quality systems
