Job Summary:
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical parts and components.
- Help develop and conduct preventative and predictive maintenance tasks
- Work in compliance with NEC code and NFPA guidelines
- Interpret drawings, schematics, blueprints, and other documentation of equipment and systems within the plant.
- Proactively communicate with departments and outside vendors to ensure proper operation and maintenance of systems and equipment.
- Installs new equipment and modifies existing equipment as needed.
Basic Requirements:
- Current Oregon Plant Journeyman Electrical License
- Open-minded and positive in dealing with change
- Understanding and ability to troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills, proficient in MS Office Suite and CMMS.
- Familiar with PLC's and able to troubleshoot (preferred)
- Must be able to understand and deliver basic commands in English
- Work within company safety rules and related industry regulations
