This role involves performing a variety of tasks, including pushing and packing municipal solid waste (MSW) into trailers, conducting pre-trip inspections, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with equipment maintenance

Position Summary:
Experience operating excavators and front-end loaders, with a strong understanding of safety standards and proper equipment operation. This role involves performing a variety of tasks, including pushing and packing municipal solid waste (MSW) into trailers, conducting pre-trip inspections, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with equipment maintenance
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Safely operate front-end loader and excavator to push and pack MSW into 53ft trailers.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections on all machinery and complete the necessary paperwork.
- Maintain accurate lift and spotting records.
- Assist mechanics and inspectors as needed.
- Perform daily preventative maintenance checks on equipment.
- Verify equipment assignments.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient equipment usage.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Job Duties:
- Demonstrate safe driving skills by maneuvering trucks and trailers into position for loading on private property.
- Arrange trucks and trailers in the yard in an orderly and efficient manner.
- Drive trucks or tractors within the vehicle parking or docking area to move, position, or park trucks or trailers.
- Connect loaded semitrailers to tractors for Tractor-Trailer-Truck Driver.
- Un-tarp and tarp full and empty trailers.
- Perform general laborer duties, including site clean-up, yard work, and building maintenance as necessary.

- Valid state-issued driver's license.
- Minimum of 1 year experience operating an excavator and front-end loader.
- Knowledge of proper heavy equipment operation and safety standards.
- Ability to pass a drug screen.
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Capable of performing the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
