Requirements :

Minimum age of 21 years old

Have a valid Commercial Driver's License Class A

One year of recent verifiable tractor-trailer experience - REQUIRED.

Non-excepted interstate DOT medical card - REQUIRED.

No DUIs; Failed drug screens or refusals in the past five years

Ability to haul 53’ trailers

Ability to read and understand a Map / GPS

Ability to perform physical requirements of the job

Ability to work in all weather conditions

NO HAZMAT REQUIRED

Position Summary :

Operate heavy-duty trucks (Class A) with large trailers to transport various materials related to waste, recycling and from transfer stations to landfills.

Job Duties :

Include but not limited to :

Drive a commercial vehicle safely from the transfer station to the landfill, placing special focus on safety, traffic rules and regulations.

Safely navigate your trailer onto a tipper.

Unhook your trailer from the truck before tipping the load.

Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle and documents checks utilizing the standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report)

Notify Operations Manager and Safety Manager of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage.

Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations for the safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle.
