Job Description:
Overview: The PMO Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating multiple critical projects within the organization. This role involves managing the transition from a legacy mainframe to a SaaS platform, ensuring data integrity, upgrading VoIP and data facilities, and integrating various departments. The PMO Manager will work closely with City leaders and officials to ensure successful project completion and alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primary Project: Tax Modification
- Lead the transition from a legacy mainframe to a SaaS platform.
- Support Michelle’s team in achieving key milestones.
- Liaise with City leaders and officials to ensure project alignment and success.
- Related Sub-project: Master Data Management
- Initiate and manage the Master Data Management project to establish long-term data integrity across City departments.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
- Additional Projects: VoIP and Data Facility Upgrades
- Oversee the construction, wiring, and deployment of VoIP systems across four remaining City locations, including judicial buildings.
- Ensure timely and efficient completion of VoIP and data facility upgrades.
- Ongoing Integration: Integrated Behavioral Health Department
- Manage the complete assimilation of the Integrated Behavioral Health Department, including M365, VoIP systems, and comprehensive IT management.
- Ensure uninterrupted 24/7 operations during the transition, currently six months underway.
- Follow a similar timeline to the Libraries’ 18-month integration process.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project management, particularly in IT and systems integration.
- Strong understanding of SaaS platforms, VoIP systems, and data management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with City leaders and officials.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) are a plus.
- Experience in managing large-scale IT projects and system integrations.
