Job Overview:
As the Capillary Tubing Regional Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of capillary tubing operations in the designated region, ensuring the highest safety and quality standards are maintained while optimizing productivity and operational efficiency. You will lead a team of technicians, coordinate with clients, and drive the growth and expansion of the business within your region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day capillary tubing operations, including wellbore interventions, tubing services, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth execution and minimize downtime.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of technical specialists and operators, ensuring optimal performance, professional development, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, prompt issue resolution, and identifying opportunities for business expansion.
- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, drive sales initiatives, and contribute to regional revenue targets by exploring new markets and clients.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to industry safety regulations and company standards. Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and safety training programs to reduce operational hazards.
- Budget & Resource Management: Manage the regional budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation, optimal equipment utilization, and accurate forecasting of operational needs.
- Project Management: Oversee the planning and execution of key capillary tubing projects, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide technical support and guidance to field teams, resolving complex operational issues and ensuring the proper application of tubing solutions in the field.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track and monitor key performance metrics, operational performance, and progress on regional targets. Provide detailed performance reports to senior management, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
- Equipment & Inventory Management: Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and proper functioning of capillary tubing equipment, ensuring that all necessary tools and materials are available and well-maintained.
- Training & Development: Organize and implement ongoing training programs for technicians and operators to improve skill sets and keep the team updated on the latest technologies and best practices in the industry.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments, including sales, engineering, and logistics, to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor regional industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to position the company as a leader in the capillary tubing market.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on capillary tubing or well intervention services.
- Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role, with a track record of leading teams and managing large-scale operations.
- Strong knowledge of capillary tubing operations, well completion, and intervention techniques.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with a focus on safety and operational excellence.
- Familiarity with industry safety regulations and best practices.
- Willingness to travel as required by the role (domestic and/or international).
