Overview
The Customer Engineer (Cloud / DevOps) is a pivotal role, responsible for bridging the gap between our technical solutions and our clients' needs. This position requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies and DevOps methodologies to ensure that customer implementations are optimized for efficiency and stability. As the interface between our engineering team and customers, the Customer Engineer actively participates in post-sales activities, delivering technical solutions, conducting integrations, and resolving complex issues. This role is essential for enhancing customer satisfaction and building strong relationships, ensuring that our clients make the most of the cloud technologies we provide. In this role, you will be integral to fostering innovation and enhancing operational efficiency through your expertise in cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices, ultimately contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical contact for cloud and DevOps implementations.
- Assess customer needs and provide tailored solutions using cloud architecture.
- Engage with clients to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to refine product features based on customer input.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for solutions and procedures.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients on best practices.
- Implement automation scripts to streamline processes and reduce manual interventions.
- Oversee the deployment of customer environments with best practices in mind.
- Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency.
- Utilize CI / CD pipelines to facilitate smooth code deployments.
- Work with security teams to ensure that customer environments are secure.
- Analyze and report on usage trends to recommend solutions to clients.
- Lead project meetings and provide technical guidance to customers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Build lasting relationships with clients to foster engagement and growth.
Required Qualifications
Experience working with a startup in this capacity before would be great!
Hands on coding ability would be preferred also (ideally with Python, Typescript, React)
