Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison with legal counsel and insurance providers.
• Prepare and present risk reports to senior management and board of directors.
• Facilitate risk management committee meetings and discussions.
• Stay informed of changes in legislation and regulations affecting healthcare risk management.
• Promote a culture of safety and compliance within the organization.
• Develop and manage the risk management budget effectively.
• Oversee the purchasing of insurance and evaluate coverage options.
• Provide guidance regarding patient safety initiatives and performance improvement strategies.
