What you will be doing:
- Oversee R D and innovation projects, including management of the NPD stage-gate process.
- Lead the overall R D project management and product development aligned with business objectives.
- Develop and manage the stage gate process of innovation from ideation through commercialization.
- Maintain R D project plans and monitor project work, identifying variances in timelines and budgets.
- Communicate regularly with all stakeholders on project progress.
- Develop partnerships with external innovation project partners, including co-packers.
- Facilitate collaboration projects by assisting with communication between headquarters and stakeholders.
- Assist with special R D project assignments as needed.
- Manage the R D center budget and control monthly expenses.
- Draft and assist with R D's annual/midterm strategic planning and administrative management.
- Monitor and report on R D performance and industry trends.
Experience you will need:
- Bachelor s degree in marketing, food science, technology, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- 10-13 years of experience in marketing or product development within CPG food manufacturing.
- 5 years in product development or NPD management.
- CAPM certification preferred with CPG marketing or product development experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Forward-thinking individual capable of driving innovation in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual in Korean preferred.
