Pay Rate:

Up to $20/hr - Commences with qualifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machine safely and efficiently including the machine set-up, changeover, and machiningof material
• Adjust offsets/geometry and program as needed based on technical parameters and results of inspection process.
• Perform and record preventative maintenance task and provide feedback to staff based on machine performance.
• Provide regular feedback to shift lead/supervisor, including performance data of consumables and spare parts.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area.
• Performs other related work as directed by plant supervisor.

Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements:

• 1-2 years of industrial CNC Machinery experience required.
• High School or equivalent.

Skills and Abilities:

• Language Skills:Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondences, and memos. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Mathematical Skills:Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Reasoning Ability:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Other Skills & Abilities:Must be computer literate and able to work with programs such as Word, Excel, etc., and be able to learn and use HP programs such as e-mail, ERP system, etc. Ability to use precision hand tools such as square, protractor, and caliper. CNC operational experience, working knowledge of various elements including pitch, taper, lead, steps, and others.
